We will seek to phase out foreign ownership of Canadian resource rights, ensuring that these rights only go to Canadian businesses.
We will facilitate the domestic consumption of domestically produced oil to drive down gas prices, and make the oil industry run smoother and maintain permanent full time jobs for Canadians. This will require creation of new refineries, but ultimately we believe this will pay off, as having a more independent oil industry will guarantee more economic stability.
We will zone significant portions of Canada’s remaining forests as nationally protected wilderness reserve to protect our environment and natural beauty. To balance out with this, we will also focus on making renewable lumber more widespread and affordable, aiming to phase out deforestation.
We will allow more zoning of territorial resources to create more money and more jobs for Canadians. Where Indigenous land claims become an issue, we will work with local chiefs to ensure that these Indigenous communities benefit from such industry as much as possible.
